The Essex Year of Numbers will give children, young people, parents and carers opportunities, tools and knowledge to improve numeracy skills. It also aims to develop a love of numbers through fun and exciting events and activities. The Essex Year of Numbers follows the success of the Essex Year of Reading.
We are delighted to be working with the Essex Year of Numbers to provide fully funded Number Stacks resources to Essex schools, allowing them to support pupils who are finding maths hard to grasp. Participating schools receive a free 'Full School Set' which gives them the physical resources and online access to deliver intervention sessions across the school, in return for just some basic progress data and feedback. To date, over 150 schools have received their free resource kits and online subscriptions and we look forward to seeing the impact this has on the pupils involved.
