Number Stacks uses video tutorials to unpick the concepts behind each key skill. As well as explaining the concepts behind the skills, videos work through example questions and then set out activities to help practise and consolidate knowledge and understanding. Every video finishes with a fluency activity to assess whether the child is ready to move on to the next key skill. Additional fluency activities are also available to download if required. The video tutorials are designed to be watched by both adult and child together as part of the 1-to-1 session and all resources used in the videos are included in the resource kit. This means that there is effectively no preparation time required before each session, meaning that adult time is spent where it matters most – working with the children!
In order to view the video tutorials and other associated resources, you must have an active Full Membership. Full Membership costs £25+VAT for 12 months and gives you access to everything within the members area of numberstacks.co.uk. This is a one off purchase price with no ongoing commitment. When your membership expires, it will switch to a Basic Level (which still gives you access to all the games) and you can then decide whether or not to purchase an additional Membership period.
